What to Expect During Migrations
Temporary Outage
- Users in the building will experience a temporary network outage during the migration window.
- Connectivity is expected to be restored by 6:00 AM the next morning.

- Power distribution units (PDUs) and uninterruptible power supply (UPSs)
- Projectors and other AV equipment
- Zoom and traditional phones
- BruinCard readers
- BruinCast
- Desktops, laptops, and printers
- Omnilocks
What to Expect After Migrations
Wi-Fi Changes
- After the migration, UCLA_WEB and UCLA_WIFI will no longer be available, or the signal will be weak.
- Users with a UCLA Logon ID are advised to manually connect to eduroam.
- Guests are advised to connect to UCLA_GUEST.
