Impact will undergo scheduled enhancement on Monday, September 15, 2025. With this update, Turnitin users will see a pop-up message during the Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 terms informing them that the Similarity Report has been updated and is available to use. The message will appear in the following places for instructors:

• One message will appear in the SpeedGrader when a Similarity Score is present
• Another message will appear when they hover over the Plagiarism Review drop-down when they create a new or existing assignment.

This Impact message ensures that only users affected by the change receive the notification, while those who do not use Turnitin are excluded.
