iClicker underwent scheduled enhancement in Summer 2026. With this update, iClicker instructors can use Web Polling to run classroom polling activities directly from the iClicker instructor website, providing a browser-based alternative to the iClicker Cloud desktop application. Web Polling requires a recent version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a computer; mobile browsers are not currently supported. Web Polling gives instructors greater flexibility when running iClicker activities by allowing them to launch polls directly from a web browser. This can simplify the classroom workflow by reducing the need to download, install, launch, or update the iClicker Cloud desktop application.
