iClicker underwent scheduled enhancement in Summer 2026.With this update, iClicker introduces a Late Attendance Status that provides more granular attendance tracking beyond the existing Present, Absent, and Excused statuses. Instructors can mark students as Late and configure how late attendance is scored.
Two new course settings support this feature:
- Late Score: Allows instructors to specify the percentage of attendance credit students receive when marked late.
- Auto-Mark As Late: Allows iClicker to automatically mark students as late when they check in after a specified number of minutes following the start of class.
This enhancement gives instructors greater flexibility in managing attendance by distinguishing between students who arrive late and those who are absent.
