Bruin Learn / Canvas will undergo scheduled enhancement on Monday, September 14, 2026. With this update, Customizable Dashboard for Learners introduces customizable, student-focused dashboard widgets that provide a more personalized and actionable starting point in Canvas. The Customizable Dashboard for Learners will be the default experience for new students beginning in the Fall term. Students can tailor their dashboard to highlight the information most relevant to them, bringing key insights from across their enrollments into a single view. This option is available only to users who are enrolled in Bruin Learn with the student role only. Users with any additional role in Bruin Learn will not see this option. This helps students stay organized, reduce unnecessary navigation, and quickly access what matters most.
