Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Saturday, May 17, 2025. With this update, New Quizzes now allows instructors to add standalone text or prompts that are not linked to specific questions. This enables instructors to add sections to their quizzes that do not require a question to include instructions or other information to guide the student. It also supports one-to-one migration of Text question types from Classic Quizzes.
