Ally underwent scheduled enhancement in Summer 2026. With this update, the redesigned Ally Usage Report makes it easier for administrators to understand how students and instructors are using Ally. Administrators can track Alternative Format usage, including downloads and the formats students use most, as well as instructor accessibility activity, such as Instructor Feedback usage, issues fixed, and courses where accessibility improvements have been made. The enhanced reporting provides a clearer picture of student adoption and instructor engagement with Ally, helping UCLA identify usage trends, understand which Alternative Formats are most frequently used, and measure accessibility improvement activity across courses. This information can also support accessibility outreach and adoption efforts by identifying courses where Ally is being actively used and areas where additional engagement may be needed.
