Bruin Learn underwent scheduled enhancement on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. With this update, instructors can enable the Detect Multiple Sessions setting in New Quizzes to track if students access a quiz from multiple devices or browsers. 

Hypothesis underwent scheduled enhancement on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. With this update, the Hypothesis social annotation tool in Bruin Learn now supports image annotation. Users can create area selections or pins over images to indicate the specific part of a document their annotation references.

Starting August 18, 2025, Pantheon will begin upgrading all hosted sites to PHP Runtime Generation 2 (Gen 2). This is a significant infrastructure change that may cause disruptions to sites hosted on Pantheon if not tested in advance. Site administrators will need to either test the upgrade, or opt out by August 17, 2025. 

Turnitin and Gradescope underwent scheduled maintenance on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm PTD. During this time, several Turnitin services were unavailable.

Bruin Learn underwent scheduled enhancement on Saturday, July 19, 2025. With this update, when the Use Dyslexia Friendly Font option is enabled in User Settings, the Canvas interface and the Rich Content Editor will display text using the OpenDyslexic font by default.
