We are writing to share that Permanent Baseline Quotas have been applied to all UCLA Google Workspace personal accounts and shared drives on June 27, 2024 (with exception to those accounts that were granted quota extension).

Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. With this update, if someone has selected pronouns in their Canvas profile, those pronouns will now be displayed in Inbox messages. Additionally, pronouns will appear in the drop-down menu when composing a message and in the Inbox search field.

Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. With this update, the "Message Students Who" Cutoff Value field in the Gradebook has been relocated, and a header has been added for clarity. Additionally, a message now informs instructors that the values they see may differ from what students see in the Gradebook.

Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. With this update, the "Delayed Posting" field in Announcements has been changed to "Available from and Until." 

Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Saturday, July 20, 2024. With this change, instructors can notify students when an announcement has been updated in Announcements. 

Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. With this change, a "Mark all as read" button is available in Announcements. 

Poll Everywhere experienced an outage that started on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 12:41 pm PT and was resolved on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 3:05 pm PT. The ability to sync rosters was unavailable on PollEverywhere.com. More specifically, a "Content missing" page appeared instead of the roster sync dashboard. 

Bruin Learn / Canvas experienced an outage that started on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 10:10 am PT and was resolved on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 11:07 am PT. Users may experience slow load times and/or the following error message in Canvas: "This website is under heavy load".

Perusall underwent scheduled maintenance on Friday, July 12, 2024. With this change, Perusall now supports Canvas Sections integration. Instructors have the option to create assignments specifically assigned to their discussion or lab sections.
