Chris Mattmann has been named UCLA’s inaugural chief data and artificial intelligence officer. The position is the first of its kind at any University of California campus and one of just a few at universities in the U.S.

Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Monday, September 16, 2024. With this update, Admin Analytics will be enabled, allowing individuals with Account Admin, Academic Support Admin, Sub-Account Admin, and Instructional Designer (Root) Admin roles in Bruin Learn to view analytics across courses within their account or department.
Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Monday, September 9, 2024. With this update, an Instructor Hub LTI for Bruin Learn is being developed. Now, TAs, the instructor of record, and sub-account admins can create a companion TA site directly from the main curricular course site on demand.

With this update, the UCLA Media Lab (located in the Library) will transition to a new Wowza streaming media server, the Bruin Learn CoE team will update the server hostname in the Student Products on-premise WebSphere API.
