Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Saturday, July 20, 2024.  With this update, instructors can assign Pages to students and set availability dates in Pages. Additionally, instructors can assign Pages to Mastery Paths.

Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Saturday, July 20, 2024. With this update, instructors can assign ungraded discussions to students and sections in Discussions. Previously, the "Assign to" settings were only available for graded discussions.

Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Saturday, July 20, 2024. With this update, instructors can assign entire modules or individual module items to specific students or sections from the Modules page. Additionally, the Add Module and Edit Module Settings pages are redesigned as trays that slide out from the right side of the screen.

Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Saturday, July 20, 2024. With this update, the Inbox/Conversations tool allows instructors and students to add a plain text signature that will automatically be added to any new messages they compose.

Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Saturday, July 20, 2024. With this update, a separate "Time" field has been added to the "Due" and "Availability" dates. A "Clear" function now allows users to clear these dates with one click. When instructors add "Assign To" settings to an assignment or discussion from within a Module, the note "Inherited From [module]" will appear. Instructors can also edit the "Assign To" settings directly from an Assignment or graded Discussion page without editing the entire activity.

Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. With this update, in SpeedGrader, after drafting a comment and moving on to another student, a "Draft" label displays, indicating that the comment has not been submitted.

Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. With this update, instructors and students on the All Courses page can now sort their courses by the following categories: Favorite, Course, Nickname, Term, Role ("Enrolled as"), and Published.

Turnitin and Gradescope underwent scheduled maintenance on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 6:00 am – 2:00 pm PT. During this time, some Turnitin and Gradescope features were unavailable.
