Zoom will undergo scheduled enhancement during the week of June 15, 2026. With this update, Zoom AI Companion and Meeting Summary features are now integrated within the Zoom tool in Bruin Learn, enabling automated summaries and AI-generated insights for class sessions. Faculty and TAs can use Meeting Summary to quickly review key discussion points from a Zoom meeting and decide whether to share the summary with students. Meeting Summaries function as shared notes from the meeting and can be reviewed and edited before publishing. This gives instructors greater control over what is shared with students while making it easier to provide a helpful recap after each Zoom session. Please note that these features are also being added to the Health Sciences Zoom integration in Bruin Learn, so instructors and TAs using Health Sciences Zoom can explore Meeting Summary functionality within their courses.
