Overview
The UCPath MFT provides a secure, reliable, and auditable way to exchange files between campus systems and UCPath. It is a critical integration service that ensures payroll, HR, and finance data is transferred safely and on time.
The platform is powered by GoAnywhere and is designed to meet UCPath’s strict security, encryption, and operational requirements.
What the Platform Does
- Acts as a central hub for UCLA systems to securely transfers files (sFTP) between UCLA and UCPath
- Uses standard authentication mechanisms approved by UCPath
- Enforces PGP encryption for data protection in transit and at rest
- Provides centralized management of inbound and outbound file flows
Monitoring and Reporting
To improve transparency and operational visibility, the platform includes a reporting and monitoring application built with Tableau. This allows campus stakeholders and technical teams to:
- Track inbound and outbound file movements
- Confirm successful deliveries and identify failures
- Monitor transfer status, volumes, and timing
- Support audits, compliance, and operational troubleshooting
The UCPath MFT ensures that critical files move securely, reliably, timely and transparently between campus systems and UCPath—reducing risk, improving confidence, and supporting smooth day-to-day operations.
