Cidi Labs UDOIT

Overview

Cidi Labs UDOIT is a Canvas accessibility tool that helps instructors identify and fix accessibility issues in their courses. UDOIT scans course content, provides guidance on common accessibility issues, and helps instructors improve the accessibility of Canvas (Bruin Learn) pages, files, images, links, tables, and other course materials. 

UDOIT checks course media content from sources such as YouTube, Vimeo, and Kaltura. It scans course media content to verify the availability of captions and to determine if any existing captions appear to be automatically generated.

For Students

Students benefit when course materials are easier to access, navigate, and use with assistive technologies. Improving course accessibility supports students who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions, and alternative formats.
