Overview

Turnitin Clarity will be available as part of a two-term exploration of writing process tools from Winter 2026 through Spring 2026 and is designed to help instructors gain insight into the student writing process. This tool gives students a composition space where they can interact with an optional AI assistant within the context of the assignment. Instructors can gain key insights into the writing process such as when text is pasted, the total writing time, and a draft history playback. Instructors can also access integrity insights, establish AI policies for an assignment, and provide tailored feedback to students.

If you are interested in participating in this tool exploration, please submit the Bruin Learn Interest Survey - Writing Process Tools.
