On Wednesday, 12/6/2023, Gradescope experienced a service incident. Our internal testing revealed latency issues in syncing the course roster and grades, affecting operations between 7:35 am and 10:27 am.

UCLA Information Security Office is aware of UCLA students being targeted by fake job/internship scams. Be mindful of phishing emails that may be disguised as a job opportunity.

Bruin Learn / Canvas SIS Integration underwent scheduled enhancement on Monday, November 27, 2023. There was a back-end re-architecture and migration of existing SIS integration services from on-premise to AWS for the provisioning of Canvas Course sites and Sections in Bruin Learn. 

The UCLA Information Security Office is aware of a phishing campaign attempting to coerce recipients into entering their credentials onto a fake UCPath webpage.

Bruin Learn / Canvas SIS Integration will undergo scheduled enhancement on TBD. Now, UNEX Concurrent Enrollment students, as well as their instructors, will see their Bruin Learn enrollments kept in sync automatically for both their main academic course sites as well as associated TA Sites.

Bruin Learn / Canvas SIS Integration underwent scheduled enhancement on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Now, new affiliates who create their UCLA Logon IDs long after their official enrollments have been input in SIS will be enrolled as expected in Bruin Learn soon after UCLA Logon ID creation.

Bruin Learn / Canvas SIS Integration will undergo scheduled enhancement on TBD. Now, if a Bruin Learn Course site gets reset and then published by the instructor soon afterward, the student enrollments will provision as expected.
