accessibility

If you are purchasing, renewing, or contracting for software, a platform, or any technology tool on behalf of UCLA, including free products, low-cost subscriptions, and click-through agreements, then accessibility requirements apply to that purchase.

UCLA has digital accessibility requirements for websites, applications, documents, course materials, and technology purchases. Understand what applies to you, and take action.

Comprised of subject matter experts, these teams focus on six areas: Web Content, Applications, Academic and Course Content, Health, Research, and Procurement. Each team develops practical recommendations to identify and remove accessibility barriers in their respective domains, in support of UCLA's compliance with the UC IT Accessibility Policy (IMT-1300) and federal requirements under ADA Title II and Section 504.

The Digital Accessibility Steering Committee provides strategic direction, aligns efforts across campus, oversees institutional risk mitigation, and advises UCLA leadership on resource allocation and prioritization in support of digital accessibility.
