QDB Accounts
What is a QDB Logon?
A QDB Logon ID provides access to administrative data that departments can use locally for analysis and reports, including QDB, UCPath and UCLA Financial Web and OFSR.
How to Obtain a QDB Logon ID
Contact your Departmental Security Administrator (DSA) and request that an online SAR (System Access Request) be submitted for an OASIS logon ID (this is a prerequisite) and a QDB Logon ID. You will also need to have a UCLA Logon ID.
How to Change your QDB Password
Periodic password changes are recommended to keep your QDB Logon account as secure as possible. As a QDB Logon account holder or a contact for a QDB Application ID, you can change your password using the Identity & Accounts Manager by signing in with your UCLA Logon and clicking on the "My Accounts" link.
If you forget your password, please contact the IT Support Center at (310) 267-HELP (4357) to have it reset.
Connecting to the QDB Database
Step One - Configure the SQL Server Driver
You will first need to make a one-time change to your workstation. This change will add the QDB Production SQL Server as a System Data Source in your Control Panel and will configure the SQL Server Driver. This only needs to be done the first time you connect to QDB; if you have already done this step, skip ahead to Step Two.
Step Two - Using Excel to Get Data
